The Bishops of the Council of Anglican Provinces in Africa (CAPA) recently had a conference. A number of interesting things included the welcome of ACNA Archbishop Duncan along with the Archbishop of Canterbury - which is a statement in itself.
A communique has been released which, given some of the sensationalism, is perhaps surprisingly supportive of Rowan Williams, ("we have come to understand the difficulties and the pressures he is facing... we therefore commit ourselves to continuously support and pray for him and for the future of our beloved Communion.")
A more holistic eyewitness account from Jan Butter is also a good read.
